Your article is well written and has good points. School playgrounds need safety checks before the children play. Unfortunately, sometimes the inspection is overlooked. Parents need to visually inspect the play equipment at the park and if it looks like it needs maintenance or in need or repairs stay off it. Kids need to play safe.

Please correct the date of George Francis Train’s trip around the world from Tacoma. He made the journey in 1890, not 1880.
