Orlando is Booming

The city of Orlando may be famous for its theme parks, but the city has become one of the fastest growing areas in the country. With a population of 1.7 million, more than 95 leisure attractions and 110,000 hotel rooms, including a number of quality business hotels, Orlando has become the home of several major corporations, making it one of the top 10 business locations in the United States.

The city is also home to communication companies, high-tech research firms, and even manufacturing plants. The Orange County Convention Center was expanded to over 2 million square feet of exhibition space in 2004, making it the second largest convention complex in the US.
